green reminds me

green is my favorite color {that is all}

sing to the mountain

:i miss:

:going fishing

:sleeping uncomfortably in a tent

:making campfires {for warmth and sometimes just because that's what you do when you go camping}

:being in the wilderness with family and friends and talking {really talking} without cell phones, computers or the tv to distract us

:not showering for days at a time {and not feeling bad about it}

:mountains: i could really use a good hike

i am determined to go camping {several times} before i leave for the summer.

after a long night of odd and interesting dreams i woke up thinking about these images...

my dreams had this same feeling, somewhat disturbing...yet beautiful still...

goodbye fall : hello winter

despite the sunshine today the cold wind reminds me that {winter} is on its way...

the crisp leaves on the ground will soon be covered with snow...

the birds will have completed their journey south...

and the silence of winter will be upon us...

all the while

i will be waiting for spring to return...

for green grass...

and chirping birds...

in the meantime...

i will enjoy the beautiful changes that winter brings to the world around me
